International Web Product Development Company – the online enterprise and Scrum project management system, written in Ruby on Rails is looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer.
IT’S NOT NECESSARY TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RUBY. YOU CAN LEARN IT DURING THIS EMPLOYMENT. QUESTION IS – ARE YOU UP FOR THE TASK?
Responsibilities:
developing backend code with Ruby/Ruby on Rails (60% of the time)
participating in the frontend development (30% of the time)
releasing existing functionality as open source gems, Rails plugins, etc. and maintaining them (10% of the time)
Requirements:
4+ years of working experience in web applications backend and frontend (javascript) development.
Excellent skill to write easily understandable, documented, maintainable code (a big plus to have OpenSource development experience)
Outstanding knowledge of any of the following languages: C/C++, C#, Python, Ruby, Lisp, Smalltalk, Haskell, Perl, OCaml, Prolog, etc. (we seek master of programming, who can write clean code on any language)
At least Upper Intermediate level of speaking in English
Desired to have experience with Ruby on Rails stack.
Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/AJAX is a plus (at least basic).
Extensive experience with relational data modeling, SQL, and other DB technologies
Experience with web services
